A delicious virtual auction is back for its second year with unique pies crafted by your favorite Dallas chefs. Piehole Project, hosted by FestEvents Foundation, is expected to raise $25,000 for the Chefs for Tomorrow Scholarship, which provides funds for local culinary programs. From chef Dean Fearing‘s Blueberry Ginger Peach Pie to a Chicken Mole Pot Pie from chef Anastacia Quinones-Pittman, there are a lot of sweet and savory pies you can bid on right now. The auction began yesterday, October 18, and will close on Thursday, October 28.

After the success of last year, over 30 top Dallas chefs and bakers have submitted pies for the auction. Meridian chef Junior Borges created a Brigadeiro pie, Monarch chef Eric Dreyer is offering up a Delicata Squash Crostada for the occasion, and Asian Mint chef Nikky Phinyawatana has made an elegant Matcha pie.
The Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show will also take place on October 28 at On The Levee and serve as an extension to last year’s successful auction (which raised $14,000). The event will feature award-winning chefs Bruno Davaillon, Matt Balke, and 12 others preparing dinner for 12 guests each within their own mini kitchen theaters. There will also be live entertainers such as comedians, magicians, and an aerialist performing on a center stage. Sounds like fun! Individual tickets start at $300.
