Texans Star Holds a Dinner Party That Blows Up Into a Major Event: Whitney Mercilus Brings Pro Athletes, Bankers and Real Estate Agents Together

PC Moment: A stylish crowd of more than 100 realtors, bankers and professional athletes turned out for a very tasty evening in support of the November 5 fundraiser at the Ballroom at Bayou Place. The Houston Texans linebacker announced that his  WithMerci Foundation is this year supporting cerebral palsy research efforts.

With that announcement came a cornucopia of light bites from chefs including David Cordua, Kiran’s Kiran Verma, Eunice‘s Daniel Blue, La Fisheria‘s Vidal Elias Murillo and desserts — Crave cupcakes sporting Houston Texans logos and Teo Gelato.

The party was chaired by Stewart Title sales manager Roseann Rogers with business development officers Bree Knodel and Christina Sacco serving as co chairs.

The third annual “Dine With Merci” evening will honor Andre Johnson, Lynn Wyatt, Nolan Ryan, Lauren Anderson and Chester Pitts, the latter two joining the kickoff scene.
