Wade Smith protected quarterbacks for the Texans, but now he's making an off-field Super Bowl impact.
Enjoy the thrill and rush casinos give you? The sights and sounds of Las Vegas? What if we told you, you can enjoy all of that at home in Houston?
Elevate Management Group has partnered with former NFL player Wade Smith, Dr. Quang and Staci Henderson for an extravagant unofficial Super Bowl LI kickoff . It is a charity-driven, celebrity-filled poker tournament and casino soirée dubbed Bulls & Blackjack.
It takes place at a private River Oaks manse on Thursday, February 2. Proceeds from this intimate evening will benefit not one, but three foundations working to improve the lives of children — the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, WithMerci Foundation and The Wade Smith Foundation.
The last man (or woman) standing in the Texas-Hold Em Tournament will win up to $25,000 for the charity of their choice. This Viva Las Vegas-like entertainment playground will be fueled by special cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The tournament will be produced and operated by Houston poker and casino vender, iHostPoker.
