Atlanta-based AD100 designer Suzanne Kasler knows beauty and balance. Her rooms have a strong architectural foundation and a delightful mix of new and old, contemporary and traditional, and high and low that make her interiors timeless. Her new book, Suzanne Kasler: Sophisticated Simplicity (Rizzoli), features previously unseen interiors from oceanfront estates, country family homes, and city apartments, from Maine to spots all over the South.
The book also includes fresh ideas when it comes to organizing guest areas, creating functional and relaxing outdoor spaces, and assembling captivating vignettes.
Kasler’s work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, and Veranda, and her two previous books Inspired Interiors and Timeless Style are Rizzoli bestsellers. Her furniture and textile collections for Hickory Chair, Lee Jofa, Visual Comfort, La Cornue, and Ballard Designs appear in homes across the country.
Traditional Home senior style editor Krissa Rossbund and Kasler will be at Ambella Home Monday, October 22, 6 pm, for a cocktail reception, followed by an illustrated talk at 6:30 pm, moderated by Rossbund. At Ambella Home, 1123 Slocum Street. For tickets to Texas Design Week Dallas, go to texasdesignweek.com
