When it comes to designer gowns in Houston, there are a handful of events that command the best that a woman’s closet has to offer. Case in point, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Grand Gala Ball which launched the fall season with a bevy of swans in show-stopping designs.
Among the more than 450 guests filling the museum with black-tie glamour, there were numerous femmes in beautiful gowns bearing labels from Dior, Stella McCartney and Valentino. While Oscar de la Renta seemed to be a swan favorite, it was Monique Lhuillier who ruled with the fanciest frock of the night, worn by Hallie Vanderhider.
Of course, effervescent gala chair Laurie Morian struck a high style note in her beyond stunning gown in deep violet by Erdem. Click through the photo gallery above this story for all the stunning looks.
