Everyone can use a little “me time.” Especially during these end of summer blues, while we anxiously await the changing colors of the leaves and all-things-pumpkin-flavored to emerge too early. Good thing Dallas is beefing up its wellness scene with several new spots to relax at.
The area is getting a new medspa, IV therapy center and infrared sauna to pamper yourself and lift your spirits.
Here are Dallas’ most interesting new wellness retreats:
OVME
3888 Oak Lawn Avenue, Suite 108
The newest medspa in town, OVME just opened its doors Wednesday in Turtle Creek Village. The Atlanta-based company decided to open its third location in Oak Lawn after having success in Nashville and Atlanta. Aesthetically pleasing from the exterior electric blue signage to a modern and peaceful interior, the new spa is an urban oasis.
Memberships at OVME start at $50 a month and include discounted services, complimentary weekly B-12 shots, guaranteed same-day Botox appointments and VIP access to events. But if you just want to come in for a single service, you can do that too.
From CoolSculpting and IV hydration therapy to facials and Halo resurfacing, there’s something for everyone. There are even a few options just for men.
Eleven IV
6417 Hillcrest Road
A few months ago, Eleven IV opened in University Park. I would much rather have coffee in an IV, but it seems that H20 is better for you. Especially in these triple digit days, staying hydrated is critical. IV therapy at Eleven therapy uses pharmaceutical-grade vitamin ingredients and delivers directly to your bloodstream for max absorption.
IVs offered include five pre-set options or you can customize your own. Recovery is for hydration and electrolytes, Live Hydrated helps restore higher levels of hydration, and Cover-All has vitamin C, magnesium, calcium and B vitamins for overall wellness and better sleep. The top tier products are Glow Getter, which is intense hydration and essential minerals, and Immune Booster with a higher dose of vitamin C with Zinc, Selenium and B vitamins.

Glow Sauna
5319 E. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 200
Glow Sauna is another new spot that recently opened at Mockingbird Station. It offers a premier infrared sauna experience, which provide a detoxifying sweat using infrared heat. The studio sits right above Dallas Grilled Cheese Co., so you can go sweat it out and reward yourself with some cheesy goodness afterwards.
Glow utilizes some of the newest infrared technology for a better sweat. Its saunas feature the only three in one spectrum, using Solocarbon heaters, patented technology that combines optimal NEAR, MID and FAR wavelengths.
The sauna has two and three seater cabins, which can be individually reserved or you can bring a friend along. And there are seven preset programs including anti-aging, weight loss, detoxification, cardiovascular, relaxation, pain relief and custom. Or you can rent your own pod, which sort of looks like an MRI machine, but you’re not trapped inside.
