The Asia Texas Society Center is excited to welcome back the Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery in southern India. Throughout their five-day stay in Houston, the monks will construct an incredible sand mandala, and will perform traditional Tibetan dances and music. Attendees are invited to get involved and participate in the monks’ work by decorating a Lungta prayer flag and creating a community mandala.
