Omni PGA Frisco is excited to invite barbecue enthusiasts and food lovers to a one-of-a-kind Texas-style barbecue experience at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. This event will offer guests an opportunity to learn from the Ice House pitmaster and chef team.
Guests will be welcomed with their choice of a cocktail or mocktail, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness the operation of Ice House’s outdoor offset smoker and the new indoor smoker. Our expert team will guide guests through the intricacies of Ice House’s renowned brisket.
The session will delve into the essential details of how to trim brisket, the full smoking process, including temperature control, timing, wrapping and resting, and a tutorial on slicing brisket.
Guests will also enjoy the chance to sample brisket fresh off the smoker, accompanied by three distinct styles of barbecue sauce, including Ice House’s signature Dr. Pepper sauce. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session with Ice House’s pitmaster and chef team.
To further enhance the experience, guests will receive priority seating at Ice House if they choose to stay for lunch. As a special takeaway, each guest will be gifted a bottle of our signature barbecue sauce.
