After a ten-year prolonged hiatus, Pacific Northwest punk icons Sleater-Kinney returned to music with 2015’s raucous No Cities to Love, which saw them mostly successfully recreate the highs of their trademark, guitar/drums/vocals sound. They returned this year with The Center Won’t Hold, with production duties from St. Vincent, which found the band working at a crisper, glossier tempo. Long-time drummer Janet Weiss departed, and now Sleater-Kinney are a fearsome duo. Catch them at The Heights Theater with special guest Joseph Keckler.
