Medical Bridges 19th #OnePeopleOneWorld Virtual Gala

Medical Bridges 19^th #OnePeopleOneWorld annual gala goes virtual to celebrate its lifesaving global medical mission. Honoring Mark A. Wallace, President & CEO of Texas Children’s Hospital, the evening will be filled with inspirational stories from special guest speakers as well as offering a sneak peek of Medical Bridges’ operations. Elizabeth Kanaly and Debbie Ayers serve as this year’s co-chairs.

Each year over 300 donors turn out in support of Medical Bridges #OnePeopleOneWorld gala in person. Despite the drastic transition to virtual, Medical Bridges’ mission needs support to supply health heroes around the world and those in Texas. By participating in Medical Bridges’ #OnePeopleOneWorld Virtual Gala you will help supply healthcare workers with the necessary tools to provide care to vulnerable communities around the globe. This year Medical Bridges addressed health disparities in low to middle-income countries by supplying doctors and nurses with 110 tons of repurposed medical resources. Rural Texas has also received donations of over 150,000 PPE supplies including N95 masks, gloves, gowns, and respirators to help save Texan lives.

Medical Bridges’ upcoming #OnePeopleOneWorld Virtual Gala on Human Rights Day on December 10^th, 2020 supports next year’s goal of distributing 125 tons of medical supplies and equipment to underserved healthcare facilities around the world.
