What

“Brilliants” features four shorter works that show the evolution of ballet over time: “Without Borders” traverses the boundaries between the neoclassical and contemporary while exploring the powers of perspective and individualism. “Grand Pas Classique” and “Le Corsaire Pas de Deux” each showcase classical technique, artistry, and physicality. Choreographed by George Balanchine, “Rubies” is a crisp and witty neoclassical piece that sparkles as vividly as the jewel itself. “Brilliants” is approximately 2 hours long, including 2 intermissions.
