Will Rogers Memorial Center

Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, 1936
This wildly popular (amongst the four-legged and biped set) entertainment, sports, and livestock complex is home, along with Dickie’s Arena, to the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Designed by architect Wyatt C. Hedrick primarily in the Moderne (Art Deco) style and named for the Cherokee-American humorist, writer, and cowboy entertainer of the 1920s and ’30s.
