Post Houston

The transformation of the 550,000-square-foot Barbara Jordan downtown post office into a concert hall, food market, art destination, rooftop botanic garden, and skylawn is a thrilling architecture story. Iconic architecture firms separated by a half-century played a part: Astrodome architects Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson and global firm OMA/Jason Long, NYC (OMA, founded by Rem Koolhaas in 1975).
