John Gillin House in Dallas, Texas, 1958

This Preston Hollow residence was designed for the oilman and his family by Frank Lloyd Wright and built a year after the architect’s death, and eight years after he designed it. A classic mid-century modern design overlooking a scenic creek, many cite this home as a central character in Wes Anderson’s Bottle Rocket (1996), which featured two Dallas hometown celebs: brothers Owen and Luke Wilson.
