Temakeria

Trinity Groves’ newest dining concept, Temakeria is a 2D sushi restaurant — or “temaki taqueria” as the owners are calling it. From Alexa and Julian Rodarte (new CEO of Trinity Groves), the concept features illustration from Jonathan Freeman who drew up the entire Instagram-worthy space in black marker against a white wall to create a 2D effect. The menu, as well as the name, is a mix of Japanese and Mexican influences. It includes hand rolls (temaki) served in taco form (taqueria). There is also sashimi, ramen, and other Japanese bites, as well as several craft cocktails featuring Japanese flavors.
