Cowboy Luxury — New Special Edition Bentley is a Texas Dream Car

The world’s first Bentley x Stetson collaboration luxury car has just arrived in Dallas. Revealed at the Stetson Factory in Garland, the new Bentley Bentayga Stetson SUV is the first of its kind and available for a whopping $246,578.

Dallas-based Stetson has been an iconic American brand since 1865, known as preferred headwear for presidents, artists and musicians. Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, Buffalo Bill Cody and Waylon Jennings have even been seen wearing the classic hats.

The new Special Edition Bentleys are offered exclusively at Bentley Dallas, with the first featuring white sand exterior with camel hide interior details. Each exterior also has a distinctive Stetson badge, and the interiors will have saddle secondary hide and burnt oak accents. The duotone steering will features a burnt oak center, and saddle-leather outer and chrome elements.

“Stetson is thrilled to be partnering with Bentley Dallas on the Bentayga Stetson Special Edition. For over 150 years, the Stetson name has stood for quality, authenticity, craftsmanship and a refusal to compromise on details,” Xiao Li Tan, president of Stetson Worldwide says in a statement. “The collaboration between Stetson and Bentley combines two legendary heritage names to deliver an unparalleled experience for Western enthusiasts.”

Boot stitching is featured throughout the car to embrace the Stetson brand. Treadplate inserts are carved with “MULLINER STETSON” to mark each SUV as a special edition. The Stetson logo is also embroidered into each headrest in saddle thread.

Two more cars will arrive in Texas in October and November. Clients will be able to choose from three colors: White Sand to match the famous “Silverbelly” color, Dark Cashmere to match the Stetson Boss of the Plains hat, and Onyx, which embodies the Stetson black 100X El Presidente hat.

Bentley is excited about the collaboration and chose the Dallas location as its first delivery, as Texas is “the heart of modern cowboy culture.”

“This partnership speaks to the timelessness of these two famous brands,” Ken Schnitzer, chairman of Park Place Dealerships, says in a statement. “The Bentayga’s rugged luxury is a tailor-made match for Stetson’s unsurpassed quality. The Bentayga Stetson Special Edition combines the best of old-world craftsmanship with American history to create a distinctive and memorable motoring experience.”

It’s super cool that Dallas is the first to get the new luxury car. And it’s even cooler if you’re lucky enough to afford one. If you can’t, a $200 Stetson hat could fulfill the craving as well.
