More than 200 philanthropic ones gathered at Jones Plaza downtown for a
picnic benefitting the Knowledge Arts Foundation. Revelers savored
cocktails and supped upon gourmet foods courtesy of Central Market, all
while helping the nonprofit raise $170,000 for area educators and their
pupils. Dining out(side): chairman Connie Reeves Cooke and husband Clayton
Cooke, foundation co-founders Susan Krohn and Mary Yenik, Jeanne and Steve
Sims, Oliver Pennington, Soraya and Scott McClelland, Sandy and Barney
Barrett, and Diane Gendel.
