During the Hope for Humanity gala honoring community advocate Don Glendenning, more than 1,000 supporters united in support of the Dallas Holocaust Museum Center for Education and Tolerance, raising $800,000 in the process. Making it happen: honorary chairs Louise Gartner, Margaret McDermott, Serena Simmons Connelly, Mary McDermott Cook, Barbara and Steve Durham, Gigi Gartner, Michael Meadows, Dan Patterson, Lisa Simmons, and dinner chairs Nancy Cain Marcus and Nelda Cain Pickens.
