The Icons of Heritage cocktail reception at Gucci NorthPark proved having good taste can help cure hunger. Guests joined hosts Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, Myrna Schlegel, Elizabeth Showers, and Jan Showers to honor the company's legacy ‹ as if one could imagine fashion without New Bamboo, Jackie and Stirrup designs ‹ and view archival images of Gucci handbags throughout the decades, courtesy of Vogue. A portion of the evening's sales went to the North Texas Food Bank to support the Food 4 Kids program. Those who got carried away: Crystal Cochran, Sandy Moore, Laurie Montoya, Alan Lowinson, and Stacy and Mark McKay.
