It was anchors away for the many Hunters Creek friends and families that climbed aboard and set sail for a night of fun and excitement for the Hunters Creek Elementary School featuring exciting grade projects, an awesome silent auction, incredible class projects, a delicious dinner and dancing!
Funds raised by the auction are vital in maintaining the high educational standards at Hunters Creek, particularly in light of recent budget cuts by S.B.I.S.D. In past years, auction proceeds have been used to help provide a Spanish teacher, a technology teacher, 4 classroom assistants, half the salary of the school Counselor, purchase new computers, enhance the school’s library, fund instructional workshops and seminars for the faculty, update classroom educational tools, provide materials for health fitness, art and music, fund field trips and special events for the students, and much more.
