Bordeaux hues, lady chic (think pencil skirts and lace detail), color blocking, fur accents, supple leather, anything with shimmer, classic pumps, handheld bags, and bold gold. Those were the fall trends presented to us by Fashion Group International and Neiman Marcus at From Runway to Reality, chaired by Shandolyn Arline-Johnson. Contemplating which look was the most striking were panelists Stacey Swift, PR director of Neiman Marcus Houston; Edward Sanchez, owner of Edward Sanchez Cosmetics; and Heather Staible, fashion/style writer. Trending: Bridget Boggess, Leisa Holland-Nelson, Alyssa Kilpatrick, Roz Pactor, Donae Cangelosi Chramosta, Linda Cole, commentator Mia Gradney, Gloria Pearson, Andrea Bonner, and Kara Times.
