Tootsies is in the business of making everyone comfortable. For this year’s Fall Preview, the posh boutique teamed up with Dec My Room, a nonprofit that brightens up hospital rooms for children undergoing bone-marrow transplants at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. (The theory: Adding something as simple as a favorite color or cartoon character can give patients a much-needed boost.) Tootsies owner Mickey Rosmarin, along with Dec My Room founders Susan Plank and Kendall Plank, and event co-chairs Amy Lee and Sarah Simon, welcomed guests with champagne at the door. To everyone’s surprise, the waiters were Houston male celebs Ceron and Edward Sanchez. Featured fashions included the KaufmanFranco resort line and jewelry by JudeFrances. Decked out for kids: Beth Muecke, Mindy Hildebrand, Holly Dinsmore, Kimberly DeLape, Renee Lange, Shushana Castle, Dana Burke, and Ashley Birdwell.
