Man of the Hour: It-Brit designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard.
Party Locale: The design district showroom of F. Schumacher & Co. fabrics.
Occasion: A book launch and signing for Bullard’s new design tome, Live, Love & Decorate.
Detail: Bullard collaborated on a fabric collection for Schumacher — Ikats, embroideries, paisleys and nature-inspired prints derived from the decorator’s world travels.

Man of the Hour: Pop-art phenom and this year’s featured artist for TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art, Richard Phillips
Party Locale: The Power Station — Deep Ellum art space owned by collectors Janelle and Alden Pinnell.
Occasion: A private screening of Phillips’ short films starring Lindsay Lohan and Sasha Grey.
Detail: Invitation to attend was granted to members of The Forum, a group of Dallas Museum of Art patrons (this year chaired by Carrie and Steven Becker) that fosters art education, community networking and family-related events.
Scenesters: Gail and Richard Sachson, DMA director Maxwell Anderson, Lucrecia and John Waggoner, Tonya and Todd Ramsey, and Lisa and Wayne Moore.

Spotlight On: Dallas-based designer George Cameron Nash; Hendrix Allardyce design firm owner Tom Allardyce; luxury textile purveyor Janet Yonaty; hand-painted wallpaper guru Mike Gracie of Charles Gracie & Sons.
Party Locale: Nash’s eponymous, to-the-trade showroom in the design district.
Occasion: The aforementioned design types collaborated with Nash on furnishing several highly stylish vignettes, revealing them at a champagne cocktail dubbed “A New Gallery: the ‘Best-of-Class Taste.”
Detail: Per Nash, traditional taste is the hottest design trend of note: “I have a hunch,” he said, “beautiful, graceful and historic taste is back at once and better than ever before.”
