Alfred Hitchcock's "The 39 Steps"
Cloak and dagger, tongue in cheek at the Alley
By Sharon L. TaylorMarch 09, 2010

Talk about something for everyone. The Alley Theatre’s new production of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps involves an on-stage plane crash, romance, a mysterious secret agent (or is she …?), handcuffs, missing fingers and more than 150 eccentric characters played by four brave Alley stalwarts: Jeffrey Bean, Elizabeth Bunch, John Tyson and Todd Waite. It’s all in good fun — and suitable for all ages, so bring the kids. Performances run through Sunday, March 28, on the Alley’s Hubbard Stage. Tickets from $21. Information alleytheatre.org.
