Brides looking for something more than typical tulle have found a friend in Lower Greenville’s Bows and Arrows. The design studio, opened by husband-and-wife duo Adam and Alicia Rico in 2009, specializes in ornate headpieces made from fresh flowers both locally sourced and imported from Holland, France, South America and Australia. The shop operates under the ideology that flowers should retain their true flowing form even as they are arranged. Mixing vintage and modern with textural and loose elements, the Ricos customize each piece to ensure their brides blossom. 4908 Bryan St., 214.828.2697, bowsandarrowsflowers.com; by appointment only.
