Opening mid-month, this urban-rustic eatery takes comfort in American food — think coddled eggs with house-baked bacon bread and pan-fried organic chicken. The same team is responsible for Mirth & Refuge, a subterranean drinking establishment whose discreet entry is a passageway through the hotel lobby. Sip craft cocktails in intimate leather booths and order house-smoked trout dip with American caviar. Keep your ears perked for its debut later this fall … Toko V (sushi and Asian-fusion) slips into the second floor of the former Marquee Grill in Highland Park Village come October … You may know it as a food truck, but Relish opens a brick-and-mortar location at Klyde Warren Park September 23; the park’s gastropub Savor follows at a later date … At Tanoshii Ramen in Deep Ellum, owners Chi and Joey Le will spoon out all your favorites at 2724 Commerce later this month … Seasoned restaurateur Dee Lincoln, formerly of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, fires up the grill at Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar at 2626 Howell Street mid-month.
