We’ll be skedaddling to the first-ever survey of color photography in American art, originated and organized by the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth. With more than 70 works that span 150 years of image-making, “Color! American Photography Transformed” drops such names as Stieglitz, Eggleston, post-modernist Sandy Skoglund, controversial Andres Serrano, Laurie Simmons and Joel Meyerowitz (October 5 – January 5, 2014). cartermuseum.org.
