The MTV Staying Alive Foundation brings new meaning to compassion through the continuance of its flagship Re:Define event. While the benefit and art auction on Saturday, September 22, raises funds to support youth-led initiatives committed to stopping the spread of HIV, the free public exhibition runs September 13 through 21 at The Goss-Michael Foundation. Curated by The Future Tense, the show includes original works by Michael Craig-Martin, Gérard Rancinan, Ryan McGinness, Ralf Kaspers, Jim Houser, Mat Collishaw, Ryan Gander, Charming Baker, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Chuck Elliott, James Hugonin and Jen Stark, as well as curator tours, previews and artist talks, plus a major public installation by emerging British artist Lee Baker. mtvredefine.com.
