Louis Vuitton has opened temporary men’s and women’s boutiques to host those collections until LV reopens its newly expanded Global Store in November. The women’s temporary space is in the former Christian Dior across from De Beers jewelry, while the men’s temporary is next door to Pearle Vision, facing Prada … Fashion retailer H&M’s second and larger Houston outpost has opened at Willowbrook Mall, near the food court. The mega-brand has also announced two new designer collaborations. Fashion fanatic and blogosphere style idol Anna Dello Russo, who is also the editor-at-large and creative consultant to Vogue Japan, has designed a collection of bold, over-the-top, accessories, set to be in stores and online October 4. Parisian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, known for its radical, conceptual and predominantly black-and-white designs, also launches a collection for H&M in stores and online November 15 … Jill Faucetta’s much-loved Willow boutique has moved around the corner from The Brownstone to a space at 3201 Westheimer at the corner of Sackett. Besides jewelry, handbags, belts and caftans, Faucetta now stocks more gift items, candlesticks, napkin rings, bar accessories and limited men’s item such as cuff links, cigar ashtrays and vintage barware … Neiman Marcus and Target are launching a holiday partnership and bringing together 24 of America’s most talented designers, from Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta to Derek Lam, Thom Browne, Band of Outsiders, Diane von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Rag & Bone and more, to create a limited collection of more than 50 gifting items, priced $8 to $499, available at all Neiman Marcus and Target stores and online, beginning December 1. Imagine the queue for this one! A one million dollar donation will be made to the CFDA by Neiman Marcus and Target. Merry Christmas to all! … Joseph boutique in Highland Village now carries the shoe collection of Brit designer Nicholas KirkwoodHedi Slimane, the new creative director for Yves Saint Laurent, has renamed the ready-to-wear collection and boutiques Saint Laurent Paris. The iconic YSL logo and name will remain with the company and will be used with YSL BeautéLewis Diamonds, the luxury jeweler located in Clear Lake, celebrated the grand opening last month of its Breitling in-store boutique, carrying the largest Breitling selection in Houston. Besides a dazzling display of signature watch pieces, the shop carries the Breitling for Bentley collection as well as the iconic Chronomat, Navitimer and Transocean models ... Dan Linscomb and Pam Kuhl-Linscomb, owners of ultra-chic Kuhl-Linscomb, have purchased their mod neighbor, the fantastically modern Penguin Arms building at the corner of Revere and Kipling. Dan tells us that he plans to preserve the building and use it as a Kuhl-Linscomb showroom … The chicer-than-chic Eggersmann showroom opens in the Houston Decorative Center in November. Founded in Germany in 1908, Eggersmann custom-designed kitchens utilize luxe materials such as natural graphite, brown limestone, anthracite oak, sandblasted and smoked oak, quartz and ostrich leather. The showroom also represents Schmalenbach, whose custom wardrobes employ leather, fine woods and even built-in automatic watch winders … We just hung up the phone from Ali Taghi, proprietor of A. Taghi menswear, and he’s over the moon about the Alfred Dunhill shop opening within his menswear emporium by mid-September. A. Taghi has the exclusive on this UK-based haberdasher … For all who bemoaned the recent closing of Antiques and Interiors on Dunlavy (to make way for a soon-to-be-erected development), we have good news. A&I owners Mona Dees and son David Taylor have taken  over management of the Antique Pavilion on Westheimer. Their aim is to create the largest upscale antiques resource in the city, and to do it, they’re revamping the look of the 28,000-square-foot showroom, bringing in more dealers (totaling more than 80) and renaming the complex Antiques and Interiors at the Pavilion. Besides antiques, art, accessories, lighting and rugs, Dees and Taylor have added design services to the repertoire, as well as an in-house rug-repair and -cleaning service … Makeup artist Edward Sanchez and his partners Diane and Michael Caplan will open the Edward Sanchez Vanity Lounge next door to Katsuya at West Ave late this month. He’ll have a team of makeup artists on hand to doll you up, from lips to brows and lashes, and will stock indie beauty brands from around the world. Until Vanity Lounge opens, Sanchez will be performing his magic at his makeup station at Urban Retreat ... Women’s custom-shirt shop Rebecca and Drew in River Oaks Shopping Center has opened a Mary Nichols handbag in-store boutique. Also at R&D, Pomp and Circumstance hosts a trunk show August 8 through 10 with designer Marie Earthman. The kickoff party is August 8, 4 to 7 pm. Finally, Rebecca and Drew now carries the colorful Temple Street jewelry collection by local designer Ana Mae Holmes. The collection is also available at the Dao Chloe Dao boutique in Rice Village … Tastemaker Tatiana Massey is days away from launching Laboratoria, the Chemistry of Style, online and at a prime RO location. We previewed the Russian-born muse’s forward style in our May issue; now the big reveal approaches at 2803 Westheimer Road, where she takes up real estate mid-month in the former location of Anthony’s Patio at The Brownstone.
