Austin-based floral designer Ashley Bailey with The Byrd Collective sets up studio at BHLDN in Highland Village Friday, June 29, 10 am to 7 pm, to create her famously lush and romantic arrangements for purchase that day. Bailey conceived her unique floral-design studio The Byrd Collective while working as director of events at the Savannah College of Art & Design, after stylish stints in NYC with David Monn and in Houston at Bergner & Johnson and PaperCity. Besides crafting irresistible arrangements from garden roses, herbs, dahlias, clematis, and more, she will host an interactive tutorial, complete with sips and sweets, to help brides translate their inspirations and budgets into a plan. Seating is limited for this gratis tutorial, so make reservations now by e-mailing cwalker@bhldn.com.
