As Audi Fashion Houston shapes up its five-day run October 11 through 15 at the Wortham Center, event producer Neal Hamil (former VP of Ford Models and former president of Elite Models in NY) is at the helm, along with Audi’s Jared Lang, bringing a roster of national fashion names to Houston: shows by Doucette Duvall, Marc Bouwer, Lauren Bush with her Lauren Pierce and FEED collections, and Cesar Galindo, as well as Houston’s fashion houses Toni Whitaker, David Peck and Chloe Dao, with more names to come — and many of the October 12 shows benefitting Houston Community College fashion program scholarships.

Highlights:

• Lynn Wyatt has chosen “a dozen or so” of her favorite haute couture gowns to be shown at the Wortham, then they will travel to the windows at Neiman Marcus.

• On Wednesday, October 13, Saks Fifth Avenue hosts a men’s show with Kiton CEO Antonio Paone, where Brazil’s male model export and Madonna’s boy toy, Jesus Luz, will walk in the Kiton show, benefitting Legacy Community Services.

• On Thursday, October 14, Eileen Ford (Ford Models) is honored for her contribution to beauty and fashion in “Eileen Ford: Six Decades of Defining Beauty,” sponsored by Neiman Marcus, at the Wortham, with a multimedia and live runway show of famous Ford faces and an appearance by Ms. Ford herself, benefitting Dress for Success.
